Anzalone League, 9th - 12th

This is a fun Sunday evening program for young men to play with their friends. Although there are fierce playoffs, it is more casual and player-organized than our Town League.
The league is named after Stephen Anzalone Sr., a long-time supporter of Weymouth youth basketball. Among other service achievements he founded this league (formerly known as Senior League) as well as Weymouth Girls Basketball.
Who
Weymouth boys in 9th through 12th grade.
All players must register through Crossbar. In order for this league to run we must have at least 30 registered by 12/7

Practices
No practices. Just games.
Games
An eight-game season + playoffs. We may have some limited ability to schedule make-up games.
Jerseys
Jerseys will be provided.

What is the level of play?
This league is for boys who enjoy the game but do not play on a varsity high school team. For many players, their only previous experience is playing in the WJBL Town League.
How are the teams formed?
It is a combination of friends wanting to play together, and the league creating/completing teams. Teams are formed when everyone shows up on the first night. WJBL may need to get involved in the roster formation in order to ensure the teams are all competitive with each other.
Are there coaches?
Teams are coached by the players or high school classmates
